Since September 2023, we have produced several shows for the electronic musician, producer and DJ Biicla. Our setup has travelled to the mountains at New Star Weekend, to the Bounce club in Moscow, where the new album "Hyper House" was presented, and to the coast of the Gulf of Finland at Sevkabel Port in St. Petersburg. This show represents a unique setup we first implemented in Yerevan for the MOCT & The Volks “Space Ark” party with Ricardo Villalobos.

The visual concept was inspired by Soviet modernism and the “Book House“ building in Moscow. The main element of the setup consists of two giant LED monoliths, each three stories high, positioned at an angle with an additional screen behind them to create a cohesive visual experience. Lighting fixtures are hidden behind the LED monoliths, creating anamorphic effects.
The content for the screens was developed with the setup's features in mind. Almost all the material prepared for the rave in Yerevan was perfectly aligned with Biicla's work. His cosmic motifs and romantic-nostalgic tracks were reflected in the already prepared loops — cyberpunk, space travel, the future, and anamorphic content presentation that never fails to surprise the audience, especially with the help of 3D gags.

We used volumetric effects and played with the depth and angles of the monoliths. To test all the solutions, we created a two-meter mini-model in the studio and projected everything we had onto it. It was important for us to understand how the setup works from different viewing angles, so we modelled various situations in which the audience might find themselves — walking around, standing in the center, and on the sides. As a result, we created about 100 narrative and generative loops, ensuring that each Biicla performance remains unique.
We’ve created a show that has already been featured at four events. The setup demonstrates the possibilities of adapting and developing a single idea across different events and venues while maintaining its uniqueness and visual appeal.
