Space Center Houston’s spectacular new Mission Mars exhibit, created with the participation of Sila Sveta, showcases an immersive experience about the red planet and the scientific research related to it.

A stunning 77'x50' 4K technology video by Sila Sveta shows a virtual Mars landscape with rovers exploring the planet, a future rocket launching from Earth and heading for Mars and future astronauts landing. The exposition designed with input from NASA experts unveiled to the world as the Center also kicked off its 25th anniversary year.
We decided to present information about new developments in the space program in the form of seemingly animated illustrations from magazines and books about space — that is why the work is easily perceived by both adults and children. In the process of working on the content, we collaborated with NASA scientists, made everything as authentic as possible and, what is important for the viewer, colorful.
The comments to the project deserve special attention. For example, scientists insisted in several letters to remove clouds from the frames, since they had not yet proven the presence of clouds on Mars. There were several iterations regarding the movement of Deimos and Phobos, until we finally got closer to their real speeds and trajectories. NASA scientists provided us with all the video inserts personally to fill the content with authenticity. We digested a lot of scientific information so that the content corresponded to the real research of scientists.

The video presentation not only creates a wow factor, but also tells a whole story, into which we were able to include additional educational content.
