Sila Sveta created a mapping spectacle within the walls of the Svetlanov Hall in the Moscow International Performing Arts Center.
Awards
First presented in 2015, the Mayor's Grants is an annual event where the talented students from arts schools of Moscow are awarded for their outstanding achievements.
To develop the concept for this special occasion we were inspired by the concept of space explorations – astronomical bodies were used as metaphors for children as individuals. For us, creative students are driving force for the development and building of the future city. When their energy unites, a great impulse for creating a prosperous city ignites.
Everything that we presented symbolized children and their path to their creative fulfilment. As soon as children get certain knowledge about the world and form their personality, they become real stars and set for the new adventures. In one moment these little stars collide with each other, exchange their knowledge, creative ideas and form something new that gives impulse to new ideas, projects and inspiration in this world! This impulse accumulates energy and eventually explodes. The energy from the explosion is what shapes the new city.
