In 2018, Mercedes-Benz presented the company’s first fully electric vehicle under the new product and technology brand EQ at the Paris Motor show. In November 2019, Sila Sveta collaborated with the brand to make a special premiere for the Chinese market in Beijing.

Electric cars are gaining popularity everywhere, and China is one of the most promising markets. Electric vehicle manufacturers are trying to carve out a niche there. That’s why the event in China was so special. We collaborated with Kingsway agency, our permanent client, to create a tranquil-paced and stylish show for the prospective buyers of the new Mercedes-Benz electric car.
We created stunning visuals for the event. The slow-paced metaphorical ‘space saga’ showed the car floating in zero gravity and cruising on the rings of Saturn. Lasers were synchronized with the visuals to make it look like the images on the screen were 3D-printed in real-time.
The meditative show invited the audience to think of the global applications of technology and its effect on nature and humanity.
‘We focused on rethinking the meaning of energy in the most universal sense. It’s what moves everything from nanoparticles to planets and makes life possible. That’s why the theme of space became central to the show. We aimed to break away from the traditional tropes of automobile presentations and create a philosophical story’, says Sila Sveta’s creative director Arthur Kond.
