For the grand event, huge-scale LED screens were installed around the extensive stage area to represent the new features of the smartphone’s bezel-less display. Sila Sveta produced CG content for the 11 LED screens which immersed the viewers into the super-technological world of the new device.

The show was completed by levitating performers, flying among the lasers and lights and by a kinetic light installation in the shape or a fingerprint that symbolized the newly introduced under-display scanner.

Alexander Us, creative director, Sila Sveta: «Smartphone manufacturers started to organize large-scale multimedia presentations. The earlier trend was that only automobile companies were unveiling their new models with the help of multimedia tools. However now we can see that electronic companies also present their devices in a dazzling way placing stakes on the multimedia show industry. Just a few days after the show for Samsung Galaxy S9 и S9+ was released the managers from Vivo referred to us with another multimedia show request. It is the second time we take part in the global launch of Vivo smartphones. Last year Vivo took over a chunk of the Great Wall of China for a projection mapping show, this time it was a historical park in Wuzhen some 100 km from Shanghai».

Alesia Zhulinskaya, producer, Sila Sveta: «The large-scale event consisted of several parts. The ceremony was opened by dancers and levitating performers. When the kinetic fingerprint installation touched the stage floor our content filled up the large LED screens. Then, Vivo officials continued the presentation with our animated content on the background. The event finished with another dance performance with invitation of the Vivo fan club members on the stage. We worked under tight deadlines. The content for the show was produced in just 2 weeks. China Kingway was the agency responsible for the whole communication process between our team and Vivo. We were pleased to work with them and thank our partners for being kindly responsive to all our requests».
